Final Screen Design

Final Screen DesignWell, here's my final design developed from the initial screen designs posted last week. As you can see, I've incorporated the colour scheme from design 1 with the layout of design 2 as suggested by the feedback I received.

Please feel free to leave further feedback about this design, there's still things I need to complete before it is totally finished and I'm still undecided on font sizes. If you have any advice, then please, share!

Thanks for reading.

Good work Sue, Pehaps you could try lining the text at the top a little though, More in the middle of the white line if possible (some also seem out of line). Other then that, well done.....

Nice looking design for your site, Sue. I personally think the ‘C’ at the to of the page should have the glow removed, and should just have a white outline to keep consistency with the rest of the header.

In the main body, I think that having 4 topics going across is a bit too much, as it means the line length of the descriptions is too short. I know you’ve not decided on font sizes yet, making it small will not suit your target audience. I would recommend having them 2x2 would look much better, and may not require much if any scrolling to see all the topics.

I think all the page needs is some kind of stroke or drop shadow effect at the sides, just to show where the edge of the page is. This would be easy to put in with the ‘faux background’ CSS technique, if you feel adventurous enough to go that far when you come to making the website. Google it to see what it’s all about.

Lovely work Sue. I don’t agree with Julian’s comment about the letter ‘c’, however, I appreciate what he is saying. On the other hand, he is totally right about the text line lengths. It might be worth considering a different approach.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I have to say that I completely agree with the comments about the text line length. At the minute I'm developing my design to hopefully sort this out.

I'm hoping that I can incorporate Julians suggestion of 2x2 with the text at the side of images will help the situation.
